How much water to drink a day?
There are commonly 2 thoughts about daily water consumption.
The second seems a little more precise. So if you weigh 160 lbs you would drink 80 ounces of water a day
fortunately we can get some of this from our food, but that still sounds like a LOT of water.
Simple Tips for drinking enough water.
- Carry a reusable water bottle with you.
- Stop drinking soda (or any drink that contains sodium)
- Eat watermelon and other water rich fruits and vegetables
- Pre-hydrate when exercising (drink water BEFORE you go for a run)
- Tasty up your water with some lemon
Why is it so important to drink water?
A few symptoms of chronic dehydration :
- Loss of energy
- Constipation
- Digestive Problems
- Acidic System
- Eczema
- Urinary Tract Infections
- High Blood Pressure
Once you get into the habit of drinking enough water your body will start to expect it and you will start to enjoy and prefer the taste of water.
